SEO/SEM PARTIME PAID INTERNSHIP

Responsibilities
We need an objective eye to help us test our websites to ensure an excellent user experience. We are willing to train a curious self starter to help with the following:

Keyword research
Assist in monitoring search engine rankings, indexed pages, backlinks, etc
Monitor the ability of search engines to spider our websites
Report through written communication how we could improve the visitor experience on our sites
Assist in obtaining links into our websites
Help identify opportunities for internal linking (after being trained)

Required

Strong desire to learn SEO/SEM
Passion and familiarity for the web
Knowledge of basic web design techniques (HTML, CSS)
Excellent problem-solving skills
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Self starter and curious

WEB DEVELOPER

Responsibilities

Maintenance of existing clients’ websites and applications
Development of innovative web solutions designed and programmed to meet client’s requirements
Budgeting and cost estimation of work requested by client
Research and development of emerging technologies, development tools and trends
Working well with others, multi-tasking, identifying problems, creating solutions
Strong time management skills
Be willing to act as a resource for other employees and clients

Minimum of 2 years direct experience creating database driven websites and applications. Willingness and aspiration to learn about the latest development methods, technologies, and standards is a must. Applicant should be able to ramp-up and learn quickly and work without direct supervision from our location or remotely. Clear communication and writing skills are necessary to communicate with internal personnel and clients. Attention to detail and correctly estimating project time lines are essential. Must be able to work in a fast-pace collaborative environment with other employees.

Required Skills

Thorough Knowledge of HTML, XHTML and CSS
Thorough knowledge and experience in PHP
SQL Database development and management
AJAX and Javascript competency
Testing, debugging and quality control

Desired Skills

ASP experience
Open source CMS experience
Actionscript and Flash experience
Knowledge of the latest SEO best practices

WEB DESIGNER

Responsibilities

Design and Development of innovative web solutions
