Twitter updates? on your blog? Dude, if I want your twitter updates I'll follow you in twitter. I think what matters most is that you have something worthwhile to read. So long as you have that then you're OK, though I do believe there is a tipping point where you've had too many posts for a single day. Is is one a day too many? Not at all.
